Brittany and Jon brought over one hundred of their favourite people to Costa Rica for a wedding weekend designed around celebration, sunshine, and unforgettable moments.
Hosted in Tamarindo, their guests stayed at the Tamarindo Diria, creating the perfect atmosphere for several days of poolside gatherings, welcome drinks, and beachside festivities before the main event.
Before the ceremony, Brittany shared an emotional first look with her bridesmaids, who wore a striking mix of colourful dresses that perfectly matched the joyful tropical palette of the wedding. The moment was filled with excitement, reactions, and celebration as they saw Brittany ready for the first time.
Shortly after, Brittany and Jon met privately in the gardens for their own first look, sharing a quiet moment together before the festivities began. Surrounded by greenery and soft light, it created one of the most intimate parts of the day.
Their wedding ceremony took place at Pangas Beach Club, one of the most iconic wedding venues in Tamarindo, known for its lush tropical gardens, giant trees, and oceanfront setting. Beneath the shade of Pangas’ famous tree,

The aisle was lined with layered jute rugs and tropical floral arrangements in vibrant shades of ginger red, fuchsia, coral, pink, and orange, creating a joyful and elevated setting that perfectly reflected the energy of the day.

Brittany made a striking entrance escorted by both of her parents, while live music added emotion and atmosphere throughout the ceremony. Personal vows made the moment even more meaningful, with the couple choosing to keep the experience heartfelt and deeply personal.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with handcrafted drinks, passed appetisers, and the warm ocean breeze while Brittany and Jon slipped away to the beach for sunset portraits. As golden hour settled over Tamarindo, they captured some of the most romantic moments of the day with their wedding party and photographers.

Hors d’oeuvres: Patacones with guacamole, fish taquitos, salsa lizano aioli, fresh lime, coleslaw, and pork empanada with tamarind glaze
Starter: Parrot fish ceviche, smoked fish dip, coconut curry chicken skewers, and mixed seafood
Appetizer: Mixed greens salad, with tomato, cucumber, shredded carrot, red pepper, and red onions
Main course: Baby back ribs with tropical bbq sauce, and sesame encrusted seared yellow fin tuna with ginger, wasabi and soy sauce
Dessert: Churros with chocolate
The reception design was bold, tropical, and stylish. Long head tables and elegant round guest tables were layered with ivory linens, dark wood chairs, green goblets, gold flatware, monstera leaf place settings, candlelight, and colourful florals. Each guest also received a lemon drop shot at their seat, setting the tone for a high-energy celebration from the moment dinner began.
Dinner featured a generous Costa Rican-inspired buffet, followed by heartfelt speeches from family and close friends. Then the night shifted into full celebration mode. Brittany and Jon made their grand entrance to party music, shared a choreographed first dance with cold sparkler effects, and opened the dance floor for a packed night of music, tequila shots, and nonstop energy.
Later in the evening, the couple cut a semi-naked buttercream cake decorated with tropical flowers, alongside an indulgent dessert table filled with passion fruit mousse, tres leches, churros, and brigadeiros.
The night ended with guests heading to the after-party at Lotus Club, proving Brittany and Jon’s Costa Rica wedding was never going to be just one event, but an entire experience.
