When two people with the same name find each other, it already feels a little meant to be. Colby and Colby brought 50 of their favourite people to Costa Rica for a wedding weekend that felt relaxed, playful, and full of personality. Set in Playa Langosta, their celebration blended tropical beauty, meaningful family moments, and the kind of itinerary guests talk about long after the trip is over.
The festivities began the day before the wedding with a private afternoon catamaran cruise for 45 guests. Friends and family met on the beach before boarding for an afternoon on the Pacific Ocean, complete with drinks, lunch, sunshine, and time together on the water. It was the perfect welcome event, giving everyone a chance to connect before the big day.
On the wedding day, guests gathered at Casa de los Olivos for a ceremony overlooking the coast. Wooden benches lined a natural aisle with woven textures, tropical florals, and greenery-inspired design details. Their floral palette featured rich greens, coral, orange, red, and soft pink tones, bringing bold tropical colour into an elegant setting.

The reception space carried the tropical design forward with warm wood tones, lush greenery, candlelight, and vibrant florals suspended throughout the venue. Speeches rolled naturally into parent dances and then the couple’s first dance to Wonderful Tonight. From there, the dance floor stayed busy late into the evening, ending with a high-energy close and an after-party for anyone wanting one more round.
It was joyful, stylish, and completely their own, the kind of wedding where guests felt like they were part of something special from start to finish.
