El Chante Villa Wedding

This Canadian couple wanted a wedding that was not only intimate but also private. They wanted their own little slice of paradise to share with the ones they held closest. They decided on an El Chante villa wedding in Tamarindo because this venue literally had it all.

We were so excited about the venue they selected because we were able to utilize the entire space for an event! This villa venue is something really special. The property is large with many mini bungalows surrounding the main villa so everyone could stay in one place.

The main villa will take your breath away. Our favorite part of the villa is the large (okay huge!) outdoor open-air dining area. There is comfy lounge furniture and a full equipped kitchen with high-end accessories by a lovely bar with plenty of seating.

The villa is situated on a hill so you catch a wonderful breeze and can see the beach and ocean clearly. Plus, some exciting visitors can come by... monkey families!

Exploring around the property is so fun. Every turn there is lush greenery and florals. When you head down through the stairways to the pool there is a nice deck area perfect for the ceremony.

The couple took photos down at the beach for a little bit of private time to soak in their new titles as Mr. & Mrs. Their families stayed up at the villa for cocktails by the poolside.

The table was decorated tastefully with beautiful flowers and candles. The couple wanted to treat their 19 guests with really great food. They focused on the menu and picked a fantastic catering team that focused on rich flavorful dishes.

The rest of the night was laid back. Everyone was dancing all night long on the poolside deck. They played some fun games like the infamous "shoe game". Then, everyone ended up in the pool late at night and enjoyed the nights cooled town temperatures. Congrats D+M - we can't wait to see you back soon!

Choosing the Mil Besos team to plan our wedding was the best decision we made! Meghan helped us choose the location, the villa, and every detail of how our wedding day would go.

For wedding design, we worked with Cata. She was so personable and responsive. She made choosing furniture, flowers, and other decorations easy. On the wedding day everything was incredibly well done.

This team goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. One special memory I have is how happy I was when I saw the lighting over the dinning table. When discussing lighting options, what I wanted was out of our budget and seemed too difficult to execute. But to my surprise, the lights were way better than we what had originally settled on. It was beautiful.

When my husband and I created our wedding budget, a videographer was not in the plan. Lucky for us, a videographer messaged Meghan looking for a Costa Rica wedding shoot for their portfolio. Getting a wedding video at no cost was an absolute treat and we are so grateful.

Sol was the coordinator for the wedding day. With her leading the charge, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She was so organized and brought such positive energy to the day. I'd highly recommend her for day of execution.

In addition to coordinating the wedding day, Meghan also helped us book a caterer for other dinners, a yoga class at the villa, and recommended other awesome vendors we could book with.

I can't say enough good things about Mil Besos. If you are planning your destination wedding in Costa Rica, choosing them in a no-brainer!
