When Melody Wang and Jackson set out to plan their destination wedding in Costa Rica, they dreamed of something that felt both elevated and deeply personal.
With their upcoming move to Hawaii and Jackson’s new role in the Navy, the couple wanted this celebration to reflect their adventurous spirit, world travels, and the bold, joyful love they share. What unfolded was a vibrant, emotion-filled day under the Costa Rican sun — tropical, intimate, and unforgettable.
Melody got ready with her bridesmaids at the Matapalo Penthouse, where the morning was filled with laughter, tropical-colored robes, and personalized monogrammed clutch gifts.
Jackson, getting ready at Diria, shared pre-wedding moments with his groomsmen, who wore suits without ties for a breezy, casual look.
The wedding took place at Pangas Beach Club, beneath the shade of the iconic tree at its center. Guests were welcomed to the ceremony with fresh coconuts in hand and seated on curved benches that wrapped around the front of an open floral arch - a soft, asymmetric design in rich tones of orange, chartreuse, dark pink, and lush with flowers. The bride walked down the aisle in a structured corset gown with delicate lace and removable sleeves, while the groom wore a sandy suit and blue tie that mirrored the ocean and made his blue eyes pop.

At the center of it all was Melody and Jackson, they smiles as they were dancing barefoot beneath rattan lanterns and twinkle lights. The night was filled with shared stories with loved ones over patacones and churros, and cutting a simple white two-tier cake covered in orchids. From their welcome catamaran cruise to their epic after-party at El Be, every moment was filled with laughter, movement, and memory-making.

Hors d’oeuvres: Chicken skewers, Mini corn tortillas with vegetables, fish ceviche and mixed seafood
Appetizer: Mixed vegetables salad
Main course: Grilled vegetables skewers, mango and avocado pico de gallo, rice and beans, yellow fin tuna, and coffee rubbed flank steak
Dessert: Fresh fruit skewer, and churros with chocolate
