Marina & Geoff had never attended a destination wedding, let alone planned one, so they had us along to join them (and guide them) on their planning adventure. They knew they wanted an intimate wedding with tropical, bohemian, and romantic vibes. They also wanted a wedding that pushed their families to take an adventure so we planned a full wedding week for them.
We handled the guest's travel plans for the entire event. They stayed at The Coast Beachfront Hotel in Tamarindo which had all the amenities you could need. We planned group activities for guests like a Catamaran Cruise on the Marlin del Rey, a Coffee Tour of Tio Leo, and a full-day visit to Arenal Volcano. In Arenal, they took a volcano tour, went hiking, and visited the Tabacon Hot Springs!
The wedding itself was beautiful. Everyone was greeted at the ceremony with coco locos, a fun Costa Rican drink. The ceremony backdrop was the unique tree on the beach at Pangas Beach Club. There was a stunning floral garland that wrapped along the front portion of the tree. The colors really popped with a big mix of burgundy, pinks, and ivories with lush greenery. They held a quick but thoughtful ceremony in front of their 21 guests before heading to the beach to take photos.

For the reception, we used teak tables decorated with a metal pedestal bowl, and sleek glass vases. Brass candleholders with burgundy candles provided soft light for this intimate dinner party. The dinner was delicious. You can never go wrong at Pangas with their diverse menu!

The couple had their first dance surrounded by sparklers which created a really dramatic and romantic moment. For the honeymoon getaway, we decorated a golf cart for the Bride & Groom that read "just married" and added some florals. The wedding was really intimate and beautifully tailored to this sweet couple! Congrats Marina + Geoffery.
