Cindy + Chris’ intimate destination wedding in Las Catalinas was a tropical paradise brought to life! Their beautiful venue, Las Catalinas, in Playa Danta provided the perfect backdrop with its stunning beach and lush surroundings, embodying the essence of Costa Rican pure life.
The heart of the wedding design revolved around the captivating theme - sunset in the jungle - which made for a beautiful color story. With a pristine white foundation, the vibrant colors of coral, orange, soft pink, yellow and tropical greens were thoughtfully woven into every aspect of the celebration. This harmonious fusion of colors and elements created the perfect warm atmosphere, making Cindy + Chris’ ceremony an unforgettable experience celebrating their union.
The florals played a crucial role in enhancing the tropical theme, with a balanced mix of orchids, torch, bird of paradise, celosia, snapdragons, maraca, anthurium, and other tropical greenery. The bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony decor were adorned with these stunning blooms, creating a visually captivating experience. The result was a truly lively and dynamic ambiance, enhanced further by impactful focal points, beautiful lighting, and the abundant use of locally-sourced florals.
The ceremony was nothing short of magical, with the bride being escorted by both of her parents down the aisle. The groomsmen escorted the bridesmaids, and a flower boy sprinkled rose petals along the way. Handwritten vows added an emotional touch, leaving not a dry eye in the crowd. The ceremony took place against the breathtaking backdrop of the shoreline, with the sound of crashing waves and the shade of the lush jungle setting a romantic ambiance.
