For Megan and Richie, planning a destination wedding in Costa Rica meant designing a day that was intimate, beautiful, and stress-free from start to finish. With just 14 of their closest family members in attendance, the couple prioritized elegance, aesthetic details, good food, and lasting memories.

Their love story is rooted in simplicity. They are two easygoing souls who value experience over extravagance. So when it came time to plan, they focused on the things that mattered most: breathtaking photos, a relaxed tropical setting, and moments shared with the people they love.

Set on the sand in Tamarindo, the ceremony at Pangas Beach Club was framed by a modern arch draped in fabric and white florals. the aisle was lined with six lush ground arrangements in neutral tones. These same pieces later doubled as reception accents, a thoughtful way to stay sustainable without compromising style.

Megan walked down, her hair softly curled with a long veil, radiating effortless bridal beauty. Richie looked sharp in a classic tailored suit, smiling wide as their friend officiated the ceremony.

The couple opted for wood chairs and soft blue table linen that Megan hand selected then brought from back home. Each place setting featured gold-rimmed chargers and gold flatware, clear vintage goblets, and dusty blue napkins—a color palette that felt coastal, elevated, chic, and serene. The floral arrangements were placed in white ceramic vases that grounded each table, keeping the design minimalist yet lush. Tall candles flickered in the glass hurricane vases creating a warm and romantic glow as the sun dipped below the horizon.

Wedding Day Menu
Appetizer: Fish ceviche, smoked fish with fried plantains, pineapple chili glazed wings and mixed seafood
Salad: Mixed green salad served with blackberry vinaigrette
Main course: Black angus rib-eye, grilled lobster, and baked veggie ratatouille
Side dish: Yuca croquette, sautéed vegetables, and onion rings

The evening flowed seamlessly with great food, laughter, and love. While they didn’t include traditional dances or a formal reception, the couple curated every detail of their celebration with meaning. Megan's father, who is hard of hearing, was thoughtfully seated away from the speakers—just one example of how the day was built with care and intention.
