Seanna and Nick’s intimate elopement at Peace Lodge was pure magic, just the two of them, wrapped in nature, exchanging vows beneath the cascading waterfall. Tucked into the lush rainforest above La Paz Waterfall Gardens, their wedding day felt like a dream escape.
Seanna looked ethereal in a delicately beaded gown with elegant straps and a flowing tulle train. She wore her hair in soft curls, letting the natural beauty around her shine. Nick matched the moment with a suave light blue suit, effortlessly blending into the tropical hues of the rainforest.
They said their vows in a charming gazebo draped in Costa Rica’s vibrant native blooms — bursts of pink, purple, and beautiful orchid florals framed by the roar of the waterfall just beyond.

After the ceremony, they explored the property’s most iconic features posing with a toucan, riding in a hand-painted Costa Rican ox cart (a carreta, part of Costa Rica’s agricultural heritage), and soaking up every moment together. The carreta has long been a national symbol, once used to transport coffee beans and now celebrated for its bright, traditional designs - making it the perfect cultural touch for a couple who came to experience Costa Rica’s beauty in full.
They finished the day with a romantic dinner and a freshly baked cake topped with berries and rich chocolate drizzle. Between the misty rainforest, breathtaking views, and quiet connection, this elopement was a celebration of love, simplicity, and nature in its purest form.
