Days of relaxation on the sun-kissed beaches and an Estuary tour around Tamarindo were just appetizers to the main course – their dream wedding!
Every last detail during their celebrations reflected their vivacious and down-to-earth personalities - down to the personal touches like custom M + K cufflinks marking their special day. We coordinated Kelie's makeup trial prior to her rehearsal dinner, whereafter she and her groom met most of their guests at a welcome dinner at Pangas Beach Club.
At Sueno del Mar, nestled in Playa Langosta, family and friends reveled in intimate celebrations while relishing in paradise. The entire wedding weekend was the perfect blend of modern chic with tropical romance, which captured this sweet couples’ vibe perfectly.
The beach ceremony, under the warm Costa Rican sun, was nothing short of breathtaking – with only the sound of waves crashing to shore in the distance. Guests were greeted with ice cold coconuts, as they took their seats along teak wooden benches. The Father of the Bride walked Kelie down the sandy aisle where she met her groom who lovingly embraced his new pops.

We kept the wedding design intentionally simple, as to accentuate the surrounding beauty of Playa Langosta. Naturalistic and minimalistic décor framed the couple against asymmetrical wooden backdrops as they shared their vows. Neutral-toned pots surrounding the arbor showcased various plants such as monsteras, palms and ferns that further elevated the scene.
The reception setting exuded earthy sophistication. The dinner scene was held beneath a warm, glowy tent that overlooked mangrove trees that stretched toward the ocean. Woven basket lanterns and dense greenery hung lit above the long dinner table, creating a perfect blend of simplicity and style.
The cocktail hour, adorned with beige and white lounges, allowed guests to mingle while the newlywed couple captured a few intimate moments by the shore.
Wedding Day Menu
Hors d’oeuvres: Traditional Costa Rica ceviche, Guacamole and chips, and meatballs with aioli
Salad: Organic mixed greens salad with cherry tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers and raspberry vinaigrette
Main course: Beef Tenderloin w/ chimichurri sauce, roasted garlic potato pure with sautéed vegetables, infused chicken breast, seared ahi tuna with sweet soy glaze, and chicken fingers with sautéed broccoli
But the pièce de résistance? A twist on the traditional guestbook – an old record where well-wishes were etched, adding a touch of sentimental value on the big day of this iconic couple!
