Sharon & Jake are a fun-loving couple from New Jersey. Together with 80 of their closest friends and family, they hosted their dream destination wedding at Pangas Beach Club in Tamarindo. When deciding where to stay, they wanted a fun beach town their guests could explore. They also wanted a boutique hotel that their group could take over most of the property for several days of wedding events and Meghan knew Cala Luna, a boutique hotel in Playa Langosta, would be the perfect property for them. The wedding weekend included a sunset cocktail party, a rehearsal dinner, the Jewish wedding at Pangas Beach Club, and a beautiful day after brunch.
On the morning of the wedding, the sun was shining bright and the atmosphere was light and playful. The gals had fun sipping champagne and getting glam at the hotel. The guys were laid back and had a slow start to the morning just soaking in every moment.
This was one of the most touching first looks ever. The groom was more excited than the bride! He was overflowing with love and just burst once he saw his glowing bride standing amongst the greenery.
The ceremony was quick and beautiful. They continued the fresh, chic, and simple color scheme of greens and white. The rabbi of this wedding traveled down from the states because he officiated so many of the relative's weddings. We loved this because he really added din that personal touch to the ceremony. A funny moment during the ceremony was during Jake's vows. Jake is so thoughtful, his vows were really sentimental and a bit more serious. Then paused to pull out a handkerchief and blow his nose - and it had their dogs face on it! So cute!
After the ceremony, everyone headed to the cocktail hour. The beach was the perfect spot for a quick photo. We love the idea of the live wedding day photobook! This couple brought a few polaroid cameras that stayed in rotation all night. People added in funny photos and meaningful quotes that the couple can look back on for years to come.
The couple headed to the shore for some one on one photos. Tamarindo is known for the many activities on the beach including horseback riding! And Sharon is not one to turn down an adventure. When she saw a horse on the beach, she hopped right up. Jake led her along the shoreline as the sun started to dip below the horizon. The photos of Sharon's smile, laughter, and sheer joy while riding the horse are some of our all-time favorite photos.
Both Sharon and Jake wanted a few options for their guests to indulge their sweet tooth. They also had a simple one tiered naked cake with simple white flowers on top. They enjoyed a great rest of the night dancing and celebrating together. Congrats on S+J a beautiful beach wedding!
There are not enough words available to express the appreciation we have for Mil Besos and Meghan!
Meghan crafted our absolute dream wedding. Every detail down to the napkin color was thought out for both my husband and I AND all of our guests. The best thing about using a company like Mil Besos for a destination wedding is that they act as your travel agent AND your wedding planner!
She ALSO planned a dream honeymoon for us! Meghan's level of professionalism is second to none! She was right on the ball with everything from the moment we got engaged until the last minute of our honeymoon. HIGHLY recommend Mil Besos, can't say enough positive things about their entire team!
Also - highly recommend taking them up on their vendor recommendations (florist, video, photo, DJ...etc.) as Meghan ONLY works with the best in the industry! THANK YOU Mil Besos for your everlasting impact on our life!
