Rad + Joe’s wedding was a vibrant celebration of tradition and love. The Indian Traditional Ceremony in Tamarindo took place at the stunning Agua Salada. This intimate event set against the breathtaking backdrop of the beach made for an unforgettable experience.

The festivities kicked off with the Mehendi ceremony, where Rad’s hands and feet were adorned with intricate henna designs by her closest female friends and family members.

The floral design was simply unmatched, with garlands of vibrant blooms creating a picturesque setting. The color blocked flowers filled with abundant greenery covered the larger pillar pieces, adding a lush touch to the beachside venue.

Flowers included a colorful mix of roses, carnations, sunflowers, snapdragons, and Birds of Paradise.

Rad + Joe also embraced several traditional ceremonies. The Bannaat involved joyous singing and dancing, while the Milani marked the formal introduction of the two families. The Ganesha Pooja was a spiritual ritual seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha for a prosperous marriage.

Joe, dressed in an elegant white sherwani, made a grand entrance riding a horse draped in red garments embellished with gold. The groomsmen, also in sherwanis, added to the regal ambiance.

Rad was a vision in red. She and her bridesmaids wore stunning saris and lehengas, their colorful attire perfectly complementing the vibrant setting.

The Jaimala was a beautiful moment where Rad and Joe exchanged flower garlands, symbolizing their acceptance of each other. The Kanya Aagaman saw Rad’s grand entrance, a heartwarming tradition where the bride’s family brings her to the ceremony.

The dinner setting was equally enchanting, featuring vintage crystal pieces and a large buffet-style spread under the majestic mangrove trees.

Ambient lighting from soft wicker hanging lanterns created a magical atmosphere. Post-dinner, guests indulged in a full dessert bar before hitting the dance floor to celebrate the night away.

Salad:  Arugula salad, fennel salad, mixed cherry tomatoes, and broccoli salad
Main course: Giant squid tentacles, swordfish filet, pork chorizo, grilled BBQ pork rib, and grilled chicken
Side dish: Eggplant with parmesan, rosemary sauce, garlic butter, Pico de gallo, guacamole, sweet plantain chips, cassava chips, and gardener rice
