Sara + Josh

We had the pleasure of planning this tropical beach wedding in Langosta for Sara + Josh, an adventurous couple who met lifeguarding 10 years ago and share a similar zest for life. This fun-loving couple can be found surfing, booze cruising, rock climbing, skateboarding, and hiking in their free time - and envisioned their destination wedding to be the party of a lifetime for everyone attending!

The couple arrived in Costa Rica 10 days prior to their wedding, allowing us to coordinate a relaxing and rejuvenating itinerary for them. They were able to have a site visit which included a mini cake tasting, adding an extra layer of excitement to their pre-wedding activities.

On Wednesday before the Friday wedding, the wedding parties gathered for a joint Bachelorette & Bachelor day. The following afternoon, all guests were invited to a Catamaran Ride + Happy Hour to kick off the weekend of festivities. During this cruise, they glided along the Gold Coast, home to exotic bays, beaches, and tropical jungles. They enjoyed tropical drinks as they scanned the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish, or even a breaching whale. The Saturday following the wedding, all guests were invited to brunch and for a day at the beach to relax and recover!

Their beachfront wedding held at Sueno Del Mar was a perfect blend of minimalism and tropical coastal vibes. The ambiance was fresh, casual, and laid back, just as they wanted.

The design of the wedding was vibrant and lively, featuring warm tropical tones of rich red, warm pink and orange with pops of white. Large tropical foliage added to the naturalistic theme. The floral arrangements were free-flowing and natural, growing up from the sand. The bride’s bouquet was a smaller style tropical bouquet with red, orange, pink and white flowers, including a standout orchid.
