Megan and Ed’s love story began in Charleston, South Carolina, where they both worked in the film and television industry. Their busy careers often kept them apart, but when they were introduced at a holiday work party, they quickly realized how much they had in common. Megan, who had just arrived in Charleston and didn’t know many people, instantly connected with Ed, and they soon began spending more time together. After months of texting and traveling between Charleston and Wilmington to see each other, their love blossomed during a moonlit evening on Folly Beach, where Ed officially asked Megan to be his girlfriend.
Five years later, Ed proposed to Megan during a trip to Prague. What was meant to be a carefully planned moment in the heart of the city was abruptly derailed when Megan’s job was cut short, forcing her to leave Prague the next day. Despite the chaos, Ed found the perfect moment in the quiet, deserted Old Town Square. Under the gothic architecture and moonlit sky, he pulled out the ring and asked Megan to marry him. It was a moment of pure spontaneity, much like their relationship, filled with unexpected twists and deep love. Megan said yes, and from that moment, the couple began planning their dream wedding.
For their Tropical Elegant Wedding in Langosta, the couple chose Sueno del Mar, a stunning beachfront venue in Costa Rica, to host their intimate celebration. The design of the day was inspired by their love of natural tones and tropical beauty. Megan and Ed wanted a chic, boho vibe with elegant touches - and we loved bringing their ideas to life!
The ceremony took place on the beach, framed by a simple two-post wooden arch with abundant tropical greenery, bright orange and red florals, and small pops of pink. Megan, in a breathtaking lace gown, carried a vibrant bouquet of tropical flowers that perfectly captured the essence of Costa Rica. The bridesmaids wore dark green dresses, while the groomsmen were dressed in taupe suits, adding a sophisticated contrast to the lush natural surroundings.
