Kristen + Jose envisioned an intimate and naturalistic wedding with a unique view that was not too formal, featuring authentic food from the region, an open cash bar, DJ, and some sort of photo booth. Apart from those requests, they left the details up to us experts to coordinate a truly unforgettable experience for all who were coming to celebrate these newlyweds. We loved bringing their dream of a modern tropical wedding in Nosara to life!
This couple wanted their wedding to feel intimate, fun, and casual, not traditional. They dreamed of having an all-inclusive vacation feel for all guests in a spa-like lush atmosphere, and we knew the perfect spot in Finca Austria in Nosara, Costa Rica.
The wedding was tastefully set up poolside overlooking the lush tropical forests with a distant ocean view. The natural ambiance was serene and relaxing as guests were greeted with cold pipas in fresh coconuts before taking their seats.

The ceremony design was simplistic, featuring mostly shades of green and white with pops of gold for a classic look. At the center of the ceremony was a gold round arch decorated with dense asymmetrical greenery. The aisle was classily decorated with white vases, greenery like ferns and palm leaves, and white flowers like orchids and anthuriums.
Following the ceremony, Kristen + Jose joined their loved ones to celebrate with a cocktail hour before the dinner portion of the evening. The cocktail space featured a greenery wall with potted plants and a neon Pura Vida sign, as well as a polaroid photo booth for a twist on the traditional guestbook.

The reception was equipped with traditional Costa Rican cuisine as guests gathered to eat, drink and toast to the newlyweds. As the waves whispered their congratulations, our hearts were full witnessing such a heartwarming union unfold against the backdrop of Costa Rica’s beauty.
