Via + George live in Canada and took their first trip to Costa Rica together 8 years ago. They quickly fell in love with the country and knew it would be the perfect place to celebrate their love. They had never been to Tamarindo so they didn't know what to expect. Via knew she wanted a soft bohemian look for her wedding and wanted to find a wonderful private space to make her dreams come to life.
A Casa Puros Dieces Villa wedding couldn't have been a more perfect fit for this couple. The venue had space for every part of the day, all of their guests, and was in easy access to the beach for the ceremony. It was intimate and created a very laid back atmosphere for their guests to enjoy the weekend.
This couple wanted to get comfortable in front of the camera and scheduled a Pre Wedding Photoshoot on Playa Tamarindo a few days before the big I do. This was also the perfect chance to explore the town and spend some time only focusing on one another.
The morning of the wedding the bride slipped into her lacy gown, classic nude wedding shoes, and dainty earrings. The groom wore a fresh white button down and navy blue pants for a beachy chic look. His shoes were the accessory that really made a pop and showed off his personality!
The bride said her absolute favorite moment was the first look. She commented "It was a great decision because of how hectic the day was, it was a moment that was only for the two of us." We hear so many brides say this!
Her boho wedding dreams were achieved with the help of our in house designer. We kept things very simple on the beachfront ceremony. The alter used two different size pedestals, pampas grass, and the beautiful couple stood perfectly framed in the middle. Via's Willowby gown swayed in the breeze as she kissed her groom for the big I do!
This bride chose ebony tables for a rich backdrop which contrasted the soft florals with the occasional gold sprayed leaf. Via had fun with the seating assignments and had Polaroids of each guest on their place setting. It was such a personal touch and really a great conversation starter for the guests too!
For the reception this bride loved the idea of the couple sitting at the double peacock chair for their couple table. Then the guests sat at a U shape table which made for a more intimate feel.
Her guests stayed at two villas. The main villa, Casa Puros Dieces, where the wedding reception would take place. Then another batch of guests would stay in Casa Alang Alang just nearby.
The bride commented " Casa Clang Alang is breathtaking and I would recommend it to everyone. The service was fantastic and they were able to accommodate a lot of small things we asked for. Then Casa Puros Dieces was the best wedding venue villa we could have hoped for. It was intimate, had great space, and guests loved the fact they can quickly go from their wedding attire to swimsuits to jump straight into the pool." On that side note, we are glad Via chose to jump in the pool with her gown on! Such a fun wrap up to the day!
For wedding weekend activities some of the guests enjoyed a turtle tour during a rare arribadas, which was definitely a highlight. Arribadas is when all of the turtle's nest and hatch in a large scale group. It is a truly magical work of nature.
