Perched high above the Pacific coastline, Villa Caletas offered one of Costa Rica’s most breathtaking ceremony settings. The couple exchanged vows on the elegant Vela Terrace, where sweeping ocean views, warm breezes, and golden afternoon light created a naturally cinematic backdrop.
Cybel spent the day getting ready in one of Villa Caletas’ private suites, where every detail was thoughtfully prepared. Her jewellery, handcrafted by a friend, added sentimental meaning to her bridal look and was captured in delicate close-up photographs before she slipped into her gown. She carried a romantic bouquet while Derrick wore a classic boutonniere that perfectly complemented the relaxed sophistication of the day.
Before the ceremony, the couple shared two emotional first looks. The first was between Derrick and their daughter, a tender family moment that set the tone for the afternoon. Shortly after, Cybel and Derrick saw one another privately before walking together toward the next chapter of their lives.

Following the vows, the newlyweds celebrated with sparkling wine as the sun began to lower over the Pacific. They spent the next hour taking portraits around the property, making the most of Villa Caletas’ dramatic architecture, tropical gardens, and unforgettable coastline views.
Just before dinner, Cybel and Derrick shared their first dance overlooking the ocean to Thank God by Kane and Katelyn Brown, a fitting tribute to a love built on gratitude, partnership, and family.
