Shannon and Russell celebrated an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family on the lush Playa Dominical.
The day began with Shannon getting ready in a beautiful long-sleeve silk gown, surrounded by her mom and bridesmaids. We loved her stunning emerald green and gold ring and her Saint Laurent shoes with pearl straps added a perfect touch of luxury. Shannon's bouquet was an aesthetic ensemble of white orchids that matched the theme of elegant simplicity.
Meanwhile, Russell and his groomsmen enjoyed some light-hearted fun by the villa’s pool, taking playful photos before getting ready. Russell opted for a relaxed look, with an open button-down shirt, no tie, and a white orchid boutonniere. He excitedly awaited his bride and took barefoot pre-ceremony photos on the beach before the ceremony.
Shannon's mom and bridesmaids sweetly supported her as she prepared for the ceremony. Both Shannon and her maid of honor were pregnant and expecting a baby on the way! Mom sweetly held her belly as they took group pics and looked stunning in her yellow dress as she walks Shannon down the isle. Shannon got a wedding and maternity shoot in one with romantic pictures highlighting her bump and beautiful dress with a silk bowtie on the side.
The ceremony took place on a private beach, tucked away in a cove against a rocky coastline. They had a green floral arch and dark wooden chairs for their nineteen guests that sublimely framed their vows. The two incorporated a sand-pouring ceremony to symbolize their unity and honored the tradition of jumping the broom with a creative twist, leaping over a palm leaf.

The couple enjoyed a picture-perfect photoshoot in a lush garden pond speckled with floating lily pads. They created a dreamy, notebook-esque scene as they gently glided in an old rowboat, embraced by vibrant greens and delicate pink and white lilies.
Their ceremony was followed by breathtaking sunset shots on the beach, where the fading purple sky and deep blue ocean set the stage for romance (and baby bump love).
