We are throwing it way back to March 2014 for this elopement in Manuel Antonio. Did you know that we have two wedding companies? Our first wedding company was called Our Costa Rica Wedding and actually focused more on elopements and honeymoons!
This couple was picture perfect! They knew they wanted something simple and intimate for their destination elopement on the shores of Manuel Antonio. This bride had such a bright personality that really shined the entire day. She chose a beautifully braided and curled intricate up-do that held tight through the windy day on the beach.
The groom wore a sandy-colored suit and decided to skip the tie, making the entire look feel more casual. We love this look and know it makes the groom feel more comfortable in this tropical climate.
The couple took the stone path through the hotel's garden to meet under the shade of the trees on the beach for their ceremony. They met their officiant who also wore a sandy suit to match the theme. The bride carried a bouquet of rich purples complemented with greens and whites - which were all her favorite colors!
The ceremony was simple and tailored just for the couple. The officiant included thoughtful examples of Costa Rica's beauty into the ceremony before the couple exchanged their vows. Shawn slipped the stunning square-cut diamond on Gabriela's finger and they sealed the big moment with a kiss!
The couple enjoyed the rest of the day exploring the beach hand and hand. They found a cute fort made of palm leaves, climbed up to the lifeguard stand, and climbed up the cliffs for sunset.
The sunset filled the sky with an array of oranges and yellows and reflected up from the ocean. Sunsets in Costa Rica make you feel like you are in another world. They enjoyed the last few moments of light while perched on the rocks before heading to a delicious specially crafted dinner.
