Quepos is located on the central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and is known for its rich biodiversity, waterfalls, beautiful coastlines. This town is popular for its superb big-game sport fishing and as being the gateway to Manuel Antonio. Where these two locations connect, you can find several of the area’s best bars, restaurants, and hotels. Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the finest beaches in Costa Rica with turquoise waters and white sand beaches. This park is considered to have the most biodiversity in the world in which you can see Costa Rican wildlife, beach-lined rainforests, and lagoons.
There are countless adventures to take in Manuel Antonio. Starting with the Manuel Antonio National Park where you have the chance to see so much wildlife. We love the hike to Cathedral Point because of the stunning views. There are a wide variety of hikes, most of which are very easy or short. If you are looking for a more thrilling adventure, check out the ziplines! You can get a whole new perspective of Costa Rica from the treetops. Not far from Manuel Antonio is the charming town of Quepos, the beach is beautiful and very walkable with the path along the sand. There is also a great local market on Saturdays and Sundays. If you are looking for more water tours, we recommend kayaking around Damas Island! This is a little private slice of paradise waiting to be explored! Another great way to find a private getaway is by horseback. Just 40 minutes from Manuel Antonio is Rainmaker Mountain, a conservation center with awesome bridges to wander around and see the forest.

We absolutely love Arenas del Mar, with its beachfront location (rare in this area!), stunning rooms, and top-notch service. Tulemar is another great option with a range of villas and hotel rooms nestled in nature with rainforest all around as you overlook the serene Manuel Antonio coastline. Costa Verde offers an affordable price point for guests’ rooms and multiple event spaces. Hotel Mariposa offers a really stunning view of the sea from the hilltop.
