Some love stories are years in the making, and for Leah and Kenton, their journey began with a home tour in Kansas and led them all the way to the golden coastline of Costa Rica. What started as a chance encounter grew into a deep, soul-filled connection.

Shortly after moving to Kansas, Leah met Kenton while viewing one of his properties. Though she passed on the home, she couldn’t stop thinking about the charming guy who showed it to her—muscles and all! She even called her sister right after the showing, predicting he'd somehow become a part of her life. Spoiler: she was right.

Months later, fate stepped in. A casual date at Salt City Brewery turned into a walk with Kenton’s dog, Driver and everything just clicked. From s’mores dates and road trips to remodeling their first home and adopting more pups, their lives became beautifully intertwined. After three years together, countless laughs, and some heartfelt losses, Kenton knew it was time.

During a 10-mile hike in Rochester, NY, he proposed at a lake called Devil’s Bathtub (which gave them a laugh) and surprised Leah with her sister waiting to celebrate after. The couple knew their love for adventure and the outdoors made Costa Rica the perfect place to say “I do.”

The festivities kicked off with a guest sailing cruise from Marina Pez Vela, offering everyone a chance to relax on the Pacific and soak up Costa Rica’s magic. The next evening, friends and family gathered at Ronny’s Place for sunset drinks and dinner. Kicking off the weekend with an intimate, relaxed welcome that set the tone for the days ahead.

To celebrate an undeniable love, friends and family gathered at La Mariposa Hotel, perched high on the cliffs above Manuel Antonio with panoramic ocean views. The ceremony took place on a bluff, framed by a gold circular arch with soft florals and greenery, set against the dramatic Costa Rican coastline.

Leah was radiant in a gown with beaded straps and lace detailing that shimmered as she walked down the aisle. Her quiet grace shone in every step. Kenton stood waiting in his tailored suit, wearing a brown-detailed Coach watch and the biggest smile of the day.

Guests were seated on natural wooden X-back chairs. In a heartfelt moment, the couple performed a unity sand ritual, symbolizing their lives coming together separate yet inseparable.
