Janaina and Adam’s love story started with a bold move on Instagram and unfolded into a destination wedding that was every bit as playful, romantic, and full of natural beauty as they are.
The couple chose Villa Caletas, a stunning mountaintop resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean, as the setting for their wedding weekend. Their vision? A lively, casual celebration rooted in nature, filled with music, color, and good energy.
Guests were welcomed with a sunset welcome party at Mirador, where many cheers, Costa Rican views, and plenty of laughter kicked off the festivities.
The following day was the magic filled wedding. Janaina stunned in a strapless gown with a flowing train, pairing it with classic white heels adorned with bow details at the ankles - chic yet playful. Her bridesmaids wore powder pink gowns, each one with a different neckline to show off their individual styles. Adam opted for a burnt orange suit with a crisp white pocket square and an open-collar white shirt that featured a touch of orange at the collar — a subtle but standout detail.
There ceremony was set beneath the trees of Villa Caletas’ Rancho lawn, where Janaina and Adam said “I do” surrounded by 80 of their favorite people. The ceremony space featured a very full white floral arch nestled into the greenery, a romantic touch against the lush rainforest backdrop. Wooden chairs lined the aisle, each row adorned with elegant white floral arrangements that blended trumpet bells, lisianthus, carnations, and wild greenery — creating an aisle that felt straight out of a dream. As the couple exchanged vows, they also incorporated the Jewish tradition of breaking the glass, a heartfelt nod to heritage and new beginnings.

After the ceremony, guests moved to the open-air reception tent, where long tables were draped in off-white linens, topped with glass chargers, gold-rimmed details, pillar candles, and lush white florals. The vibe was timeless, elegant, and chic all at once — a seamless blend of luxury and nature.

Hors d’oeuvres: Chicken and parmesan cheese mini bouchee, brusquetat al Alioli, fried lobster ravioli and spicy tomato meatballs
Appetizer: Caprese salad, mozzarella cheese, tomato and pesto and vegan squash soup
Salad: Mixed salad with arugula, cherry tomato, serrano ham, gano padano parmesan, roasted tomato cream flavored with basil and croutons, and shrimp and fish ceviche, passion fruit and plantain chips
Main course: Chicken breast with creamy coconut sauce, jumbo shrimps with herbs, and beef tenderloin with red wine sauce,
Side dish: mashed potatoes, white rice, cassava puree, and noquis with Pomodoro sauce,
Dessert: Orange and cape gooseberry tartlet topped with meringue, tripple chocolate mousse, vanilla marble cheesecake, and wines pear
One of our favorite details? The cake topper - a playful and personal touch with miniature figurines of Janaina, Adam, and their two dogs. A fun nod to the couple’s personality and shared life.
The night continued with a custom playlist, a vibrant dance floor, and a photobooth to capture the energy. As guests twirled beneath the stars and toasted to the newlyweds, it was clear this was more than just a destination wedding — it was a weekend full of meaning, laughter, and unforgettable views.
