Jaynie + Carlos

Jaynie + Carlos, a couple deeply in love with nature, sustainability, and eco-tourism, had the perfect bohemian chic paradise wedding in Quepos. They envisioned a celebration that highlighted the natural beauty of the surroundings, with an emphasis on quality over quantity.

Having visited before and fallen in love on the beaches of Manuel Antonio, Jaynie + Carlos desired a wedding that complemented their love for nature. The day before the wedding itself added an element of adventure to their festivities, with the bridal party enjoying a Mangrove Boat Tour and the groomsmen embarking on an ATV adventure.

From sentimental items like the bride's grandmother's Blue Sapphire Ring and the groom's mother's Catholic wedding lasso, Jaynie + Carlos's love story was beautifully woven into their wedding plans. Their wedding ceremony embraced cultural and religious traditions, blending Jaynie's Jewish and spiritual background with Carlos's Mexican Catholic roots. The incorporation of these traditions, including a Jewish glass-breaking ceremony and Christian/Catholic blessings, added depth and meaning to their union.

The ceremony took place against the backdrop of the ocean and lush rainforest, adorned with abundant foliage and vibrant tropical flowers. The aisle was lined with palms and loose flowers, creating a romantic atmosphere. Jaynie + Carlos shared an intimate first look before exchanging heartfelt vows on rose petals in shades of soft pink.

The reception featured a vibrant and natural design aesthetic. Tables were adorned with wild and freeform floral arrangements in glass compotes and bud vases, with pops of rust, orange, and tropical greenery. Wooden and wicker accents, along with monstera leaves used as cocktail menus, added an earthy touch. The dinner scape showcased long tables with green vegetation and candles as table runners, creating a whimsical and enchanting ambiance.
