Rhonda and Justin are really adventurous and like to stay active. They wanted to make sure to create memories with every day they had in Costa Rica. They contacted us because they wanted not only a beautiful Tulemar beach wedding but also an unforgettable trip for their intimate guest list. We planned activities for them and their guests including paddleboarding, ziplining, offshore sportfishing, a guided hike through Manuel Antonio National Park, and a catamaran cruise. All of these adventures really kicked off a great start to their wedding weekend in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica with their closest friends and family. This intimate wedding was magical from start to finish.
The morning was peaceful. The bride slipped on her beautifully layered dress and sparkling heels wearing a smile the entire morning. Her beautiful dress matched her accessories so well, she paired diamond earrings with a gem bridal headband that shined brightly in the Costa Rican sun. Justin wore a tan suit that perfectly fit his frame and a blue striped tie to add a pop of color. They shared their first looks surrounded by the green tropical garden. They laughed and giggled as they held hands and headed down the stone path to their ceremony.
Their romantic ceremony was tucked into the trees with the ocean waves just a few steps away. The breeze was perfect on this day and you could hear the birds flying high ahead. We created the perfect classic decor for their intimate ceremony in this tropical setting with draped white fabric on the rose decorated arbor. Wooden chairs with white cushions faced the arbor so the guests could feel the breeze and the shade from the trees kept the sun from shining in their eyes.
After the big I do, the newlyweds headed to the beach for some cute portraits by the water. Their friends and family joined them for photos while also enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. With such an intimate guest list, they really got to enjoy the little moments with their closest loved ones.
Cocktail Hour Menu
Tuna Poke on Wonton Rounds
BBQ chicken satay skewers
Apple Brie Crostini
Caprese Bites with Cherry Tomatoes
Bean and cheese empanadas
For the beachfront reception, we set up a long family-style table decorated under the trees. We hung beautiful chandeliers that glistened in the light. Each table setting had a clear glass plate, cream napkin, and a big succulent for an accent. The centerpieces were a mix of white and blush roses with greenery surrounded by candles.
Wedding Menu
Watermelon and basil salad with crumbled feta cheese and toasted pepitas
Grilled filet mignon and Mahi Mahi steaks
Steamed veggies and oven-roasted potatoes
As the sun started to set, the day transformed to night. The chandeliers twinkled in the trees and you could hear everyone laughing and enjoying the perfect day. Congrats Rhonda + Justin!
