The pre-ceremony festivities were filled with joy and excitement as the bridal party got ready together, donning blush pink and soft sage green silk robes. Champagne was popped, and a tequila shot was shared to kick off the day in style.
Asha + Ian's love story blossomed after meeting at work, and their connection grew stronger even during Asha's visit to Bolivia. Their relationship endured a 14-day quarantine together, which solidified their bond and proved that they were meant to be. The engagement was a surprise orchestrated with love. With Asha's family scattered across the globe, Ian managed to gather them for a heartwarming proposal in Galveston. At sunset, amidst heart-shaped rose petals on a balcony, Ian popped the question, and their families and their beloved goldendoodle Kai joined in the celebration.
Asha admires Ian's selfless and giving heart, always thinking of others and going the extra mile in everything he does. His ambition and diligence inspire her. On the other hand, Ian cherishes Asha's kindness and ability to make everyone around her feel loved. He values her intelligence and her role in helping him grow as a person. Together, they share a love for their goldendoodle Kai and embrace the idea of becoming parents in the future.
Their wedding design reflects their eclectic, romantic, and unique style. They envision a moody and romantic ambiance created by candlelight and greenery, with minimal flower usage. Muted florals in white and ivory, complemented by sage-mixed greenery, set the tone for the day. Pops of pale pink and creamy peach add delicate touches of color to the overall aesthetic.
The ceremony took place at the Zephyr Palace Pool Terrace, providing a majestic backdrop of the Costa Rican mountains and ocean. Terracotta pillars surrounded the poolside, evoking a timeless atmosphere. Asha's mother proudly walked her down the aisle, while Ian's mother accompanied him. An arch made of draping white fabric and a rose petal aisle added to the ethereal beauty of the ceremony. An unplugged ceremony sign encouraged guests to be fully present and enjoy the moment.

For the cocktail hour, guests gathered on the Zephyr Palace Terrace, where small bud vases and votives added subtle elegance to accent tables. The lower terrace provided a relaxing atmosphere for mingling and savoring delicious drinks.
The reception took place in the Zephyr Palace Ballroom, where guests danced under the stars, with lounge furniture adorning the sides of the pool. A photo booth added extra entertainment, while a neon party brought vibrant energy with neon paint, drums, stilts, and strobe lights.
