Stacy and Domonic’s love story started when they were just kids. They were best friends who even went to prom together (as just friends… at the time!). Stacy always knew DJ was someone special. But neither of them could have imagined that years later, after building a life together, traveling the world, buying a home, and raising three pups, they’d end up here—saying “I do” on the shores of Costa Rica.
In early 2023, DJ popped the question at the top of a waterfall in Puerto Rico, surprising Stacy with a heartfelt, joy-filled proposal in front of a cheering crowd. It was the perfect start to planning a celebration that reflected their shared love of adventure, travel, and beauty in every form.
They chose Playa del Coco as the backdrop for their destination wedding because it was a vibrant coastal town full of charm, warm sunsets, and the laid-back tropical energy they love.
Stacy was a vision in a white gown with long lace sleeves, her stunning voluminous red hair flowing as she walked toward the ocean. She carried a bouquet of white roses and orchids, and on her hand sparkled a square-cut diamond ring that caught the light of the setting sun. DJ stood out in a rust-toned suit with rich brown shoes, flanked by his groomsmen in light-colored suits and chocolate brown dress shoes—a perfect complement to the coastal palette. One especially sweet detail? DJ’s father wore a custom tie featuring a photo of the two of them from DJ’s childhood—a quiet tribute to a lifetime of love.

The ceremony took place beneath a lush curved arch, tucked between two beach trees, overlooking the water. Guests were welcomed with fresh coconuts and found their seats on white chairs with plush cushions, ready to witness a love story decades in the making.
Dinner was held in the open air, the sound of the ocean rolling in nearby. Long tables were draped in white runners, lined with elegant white chairs, orange glassware, and soft neutral décor. The couple sat at their own sweetheart table, marked with shell place cards, and toasted to forever as the sun dipped low on the horizon.
