Sarah and Colby have spent the last decade making memories together. They always loved tropical atmospheres which led them to share their 10 year anniversary doing a vow renewal in Costa Rica.
They stayed at the beautiful Dreams Las Mareas Resort, a vibrant beach getaway located on an expansive palm-studded beach surrounded by lush green mountains and jungles on Playa El Jobo in Guanacaste.
Sarah wanted to find an outdoor location nearby that was a tropical intimate paradise and had a stunning backdrop for their vow renewal. We picked the Llanos del Cortes waterfall because it was easy to access in a wedding gown and is often very private in the mornings.
We wanted to create an atmosphere that was relaxed, fun, and tastefully colorful. Sarah wanted splashes of bright tropical colors with native flowers and greenery to compliment the environment. We loved the beautiful circular arch and contrasted it with the use of colorful rugs to add an extra wow factor to the ceremony.
