Emma + Ted planned a fun-filled Guanacaste wedding weekend filled with adventures. They started the trip off with couple surf sessions, a catamaran cruise, and welcomed everyone at this Playa Langosta wedding rehearsal.
Causal Family Vibe
The entire pre-wedding event felt very causal. Everyone dressed in their best beachfront dinner attire and Emma wore a stunning white summer dress with lace long sleeves. Her red hair and bright smile just stopped you in your tracks. She was glowing for the big day!
We set up a comfy mingling area right on the beach so everyone could sip cocktails, play games, and watch the Langosta sunset set into the ocean. It was a real family feel with the kids playing in the same and everyone laughing over old stories.
Beachfront Rehearsal Dinner Decor
Emma + Ted are well-traveled and they love going to new places. They incorporated this into their design with a cute guest gift table with mini luggage mint boxes. They also passed out wedding fans with a map and their photo on it for a fun touch on the hot Summer day. They really thought of everything for their guests.
After watching the sun had set into the ocean, everyone headed to the string light lit poolside dining area. We kept the decor simple and fresh for this beachy rehearsal dinner. White linens, greenery on every table, a surfboard seating chart, and wooden chairs. We placed bright palm leaves behind the wooden chargers and accented everything with some fun glassware. The table numbers and candles had gold accents to add in one more drop of glam.
Fire Spinners at Sunset
The best part of the night was the fire spinners! Did you know that Guanacaste is known for its talented fire teams? Every night in high season you will see performers dancing and spinning so effortlessly on the beach. It is truly magical to watch. Every artist has their own style and we picked a group that really showed the Costa Rician influence that we wanted to incorporate. The guests raved about this and it really was the perfect flair that the night needed.
The night flew by and we asked Emma + Ted how they were feeling about the big day tomorrow. They both smiled and looked at each other and said they couldn’t feel more ready! Congrats you two!
