The days before your wedding should be filled with bonding with your friends and family. When planning a destination wedding, you can really take advantage of this time together and plan an adventure in your new location!
Kate and Nate wanted to plan a fun day in the sun for everyone to enjoy before the big day so we organized a private catamaran tour in the open water exploring around the islands of Las Catalinas with their 42 guests.
Everyone was staying in the chic intimate village of Las Catalinas, Costa Rica – where the wedding was being held too!
First everyone met at the coffee shop in Las Catalinas. We absolutely love this chic coffee shop and the little gourmet market. You can find a bunch of goodies like pastries, smoothies, and anything you could need for your stay. Everyone mingled in the early morning sun before boarding the bus to head to the beach.
Once on the sandy shoreline, everyone headed to the water and on to a dingy that would take them to the bigger boat on in the water.
The boat has everything you could need for a day out on the water. You can lay in the sun on the big hammock net while sipping tropical cocktails or stay under the shade and watch as the water whisks by.
The activities to choose from on the boat are paddle boarding, snorkelling, floats, and you can of course swim to the shore of the islands surrounding you.
Kate and Nate decided to do just that – and take advantage of the opportunity for a pre wedding photoshoot with their photographer. We LOVED the way these photos turned out because they are so relaxed and authentic. Plus they were able to have a few intimate moments before joining their wedding guests back on the boat for lunch and more drinks!
