POV: You are recently engaged to the love of your life, you are in the midst of planning your destination wedding in stunning Costa Rica, and you think you’ve finally found the venue of your dreams – but how do you know for sure that it’s the perfect venue for you? You may want to consider a Site Visit.
Costa Rica offers a plethora of incredible wedding venues and special spaces to say “I do”. Our team has worked with dozens of venues across this beautiful country, and we love to show couples just how unique and different they are. Whether you’re looking for a beachfront backdrop, a rainforest resort, or an intimate gathering in the jungle – Costa Rica has got it all.
Our first step when we begin planning with you is evaluating your event and travel needs. We look at everything from your preferences from distance to airport, types of activities you are interested in for guests, and desired approximate price range for hotels, to type of venue, event style, and budget. Once you’ve determined a short list of venues of interest, our team highly recommends coming for a site visit and we can coordinate tours of your favorite properties.
What is a site visit, anyway?
A pre-planned trip to your anticipated wedding venue, preferably with your partner, before your big day. Trust us when we say there is no substitute for seeing it in person. It will be well worth it when you feel confident and at ease as your dream wedding draws closer. Everything falls into place naturally when you have the site visit wrapped up, and you’ll love the extra vacay days with your soon-to-be hubby (pre-marriage-moon, anyone?)
Wondering what the advantages are of planning a site visit before your big day? Check out the next blog for a list of things you can experience during a site visit to make your pre-planning process easier than ever!
Remember, we don’t recommend site visits for every couple. If making a site visit isn’t the right fit for you, you can definitely plan your dream wedding without visiting in advance. Our team of experts has spent years vetting these venues for you and we are dedicated to bringing your destination wedding dreams to life!
