We are so grateful to have worked with the Mil Besos team for our wedding at Sueno del Mar in November 2024! We are Canadian and knew we would need support with booking vendors and managing our guests’ travel. I can say confidently that the team is well worth the added costs for a wedding, especially for a destination!

The team is very organized and use a project management tool to help outline tasks and things for the bride/groom to consider. They also have access to amazing vendors in Costa Rica which makes booking very easy. We experienced some travel disruptions with our flights being cancelled a few days before our wedding. The Mil Besos team was very supportive and helped us all get transportation figured out. If we didn’t have their help, the few days leading up to our wedding would have been extremely stressful.

I loved working with their team during the day of the wedding, our Day of Coordinator, Sol, was everything I ever wanted in a planner and ensured everything was perfect and came together without me having to be involved. The team also has an amazing Social Media Manager, Ilaria, who captured videos/images from behind the scenes so we never had to be on our phones and still got so much content, plus the pictures we got from our photographers!

Our elopement in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, was everything we dreamed of and more, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible Mil Besos team. From the moment we arrived, they made sure every detail was taken care of, allowing us to focus entirely on each other and the beautiful experience we were about to embark on.

We exchanged vows in front of the stunning La Fortuna Waterfall, a place that felt magical and intimate, just the two of us. Mil Besos made sure everything went smoothly, from the ceremony itself to the personal touches that made the moment even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect, serene setting to begin our lives together.

Our stay at the Royal Corin Resort was the perfect escape. With stunning views of Arenal Volcano, the resort offered us luxurious accommodations and impeccable service, making it feel like we were in our own little paradise. After the ceremony, we enjoyed the hot springs, and every evening, we relaxed with the perfect backdrop of nature, making the entire experience even more memorable. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed

We did encounter a bit of a hiccup when our luggage got lost, but both Mil Besos and The Royal Corin staff went out of their way to help us with the situation. They kept us updated on the progress and even offered to help in any way possible to make sure we didn’t feel stressed or inconvenienced. Their support made us feel so cared for during our stay, and we were relieved when our luggage finally arrived.

Aside from that, our trip was filled with amazing adventures. We hiked the La Leona trail, where we were surrounded by vibrant wildlife and breathtaking views. The Rio Celeste with its magical turquoise waters was a highlight, and we also had the chance to explore caves, making our elopement feel like the ultimate adventure.

From coordinating every detail of our ceremony to stepping in to resolve the little issues we encountered, Mil Besos made sure our experience was seamless and stress-free. Their attention to detail and genuine care for us went beyond our expectations. We feel so fortunate to have had them by our side as we embarked on this new chapter of our lives. We truly appreciate everything they did to make our elopement so unforgettable. We’ll cherish these memories for a lifetime. Thank you!

Mil Besos made our wedding the most stress-free and seamless experience from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with from the team to the vendors were so kind and helpful in making sure everything was perfect. I wasn’t a bride who wanted to spend a lot of time planning and they made it extremely easy. The wedding day florals, decor and venue completely blew us away. Hiring Mil Besos as our wedding planning team was the best decision we made after deciding to get married in our favorite vacation destination! Choosing to hire a wedding planner took some convincing for my now husband, but after our reception the first comment he made was “We never could have done this without them!” Meghan and her team are extremely organized and detail oriented. From our first point of contact through the day after our wedding, we never once felt stressed or overwhelmed. Meghan and her team members have unmatched resources and experience that set them above just being wedding planners. Mil Besos helped coordinate our wedding welcome party, wedding day details and festivities, a wedding group excursion, and our honeymoon. They even went as far as to help my husband organize and obtain a special handmade Costa Rican wedding gift/surprise!

Our day of coordinator, Connie, was absolutely amazing. She checked in on us frequently to ensure all our needs were met all while coordinating vendors and our guests. We had questionable weather forecasted the day of our wedding. She immediately presented beautiful back up options and reassured us that our day would remain as perfect as planned – and she produced!! The details, communication and passion that Connie provided made our day extraordinary!!

When we initially decided to have a destination wedding, we questioned if it was the right decision due to the extra complexity, and researched a bunch of different options. Ultimately, we decided to get married in Costa Rica because of how confident we were in the Mil Besos team, and we ended up feeling like the planning process was less stressful than a local wedding! I work in a project management role for a living, and was thoroughly impressed by how well they managed our planning process (including the use of a tool we could easily view to track the status of different items)!

In the final months of planning, they had a very smooth process for confirming final details, ensuring our guest were comfortable, and helping us plan guest activities. We expected to be a little stressed with final details in the days before the wedding, but we were able to fully relax and enjoy our time in Costa Rica.

Mil Besos has a specialized team of planners for things like design, guest activities, and venue coordination, which is a huge differentiator for the value. Our day of planners were awesome, and even showed up for our welcome party! They made everything go perfectly to plan and kept things moving along without making it feel like a rush. They made the wedding very fun!
